As Naxos is a big island, it has different modes of transport.We strongly advise you to rent a vehicle on the island if you want to explore it in its entirety.

For us, the best, it's the motorbikes ! Easy for park, you can visit and move all over. The consumption is low and the rental price much lower than a car. Parking a car is a real problem in Naxos. With the motorbike, you can park everywhere and sneak into the queues. It is quite possible to visit the whole island as well. Count between 15 to 25 euros of daily budget, depending the season.

If you wish to book in advance, we advise you to request it before or upon your arrival and your vehicle will be waiting for you directly at the Villa. Our partner Babis also offers quads, buggies and scooters. Transportation in Naxos is well developed. There is a bus system that serves the main cities and some villages. You can find bus schedules on this site.

For short trips, you can also use the taxi service, but they are not numerous on the island and quickly stormed in high season. Moreover, they take advantage of this strong demand to increase their rates.

It is also possible to rent bicycles. Be careful, the island is very mountainous, you need good legs. Our partner Aurelia offers great electric bikes very effective. The electric assistance will be precious to you in Mountain or in the climbs.
